includes a countdown ticker up or down. They come in almost infinite form. If you ever looked at Google, you'll find plenty of examples for this.
Most are free and can easily fit into a blog. This is usually done by
HTML code. Do not worry. This code when you create your ticker is created automatically. You'll just have to copy it and paste it as HTML or gadget.
To show you how such things can work, I have created a sample manual.
